About us

What we do

We create and deliver heritage based educational projects in schools, museums, arts and community settings. Our projects provide meaningful learning and engagement activities for a wide range of people from students and young adults seeking new skills to older people with memories to share.

Projects are usually split into three stages, as follows:-
  1. research of heritage theme and provision of training in Oral History interviewing, archive research and arts / media production skills
  2. gathering of oral histories (through film or audio recording)
  3. creative interpretation and production of learning materials through print or digital media, museum exhibitions, live performance or cultural events.

Our Social Objectives

We are a community interest company, which means we exist for the benefit of the communities we serve and our activities are 'not for profit'. Our mission is to create projects which:-
  • enable specific communities to explore their own heritage, or learn about social history which is pertinent and relevant to them
  • promote social cohesion, and encourage respect, integration and understanding between different groups
  • provide education, training and personal development opportunities for participants
